Project Pack—Medium Business Total Care (MBTC)

The MBTC Project Pack is for a medium sized businesses with over about 15 team members. It includes TKO SME, Q-Template™ Premier and up to 77 hours of training and consultancy. We analyse your business, construct a customised TKO database with procedure charts that exactly matches your business, and specify all work instructions, information documents, forms and databases that you require. We provide training in all aspects of TKO and the Q-Template and guide and support you in managing your operations manual project.

Scenario

You have decided to produce an operations manual for your business. You and your team know all of the details. You want help organising this information, with working out what documents you need and with writing some of them.

This pack is designed to provide you with a framework that exactly matches your business, to specify all of the documents that you require, write your procedure-level documents and to manage and coach you through writing the detailed information.

You produce new or adapt existing support documents and review and edit the ones provided with the Q-Template. We help you format them uniformly and place them into the TKO database.

By attending the included webinars you learn how to use TKO and improve and maintain your database.

What is included

We supply you with:

  • TKO software or hosted Confluence
  • Q Template™ Premier.
  • Up to 71 hours of consultancy, analysis, project management, writing, chart drawing and database construction over 9 months.
  • 6 hours of training in the use of TKO and getting the most out of the Q-Template during the 9 months of consultancy.

What we do

  • We work with you to analyse and map all of the workflow in your business. We analyse your business with you, defining each workflow step as an activity in a procedure document.
  • We give:
    • Guidance and support in managing the operations manual project and bringing it to completion
    • Feedback about the documents that you produce

What we build for you

We build a customised TKO database for you with the following components:

  • Your logo and basic company information
  • A set of roles defined during the analysis
  • Names of your team members:
    • Entered into the TKO database
    • Assigned to roles according to your instructions
    • Entered into record-keeping spreadsheets provided with the Q-Template
  • Up to 50 procedure documents specified in the analysis, containing:
    • Activity headings and role names
    • For each activity, text of its basic steps and hyperlinks to its support documents
    • Matching assignments of the procedures to roles in the database
    • Up to 50 customised swimming lane charts representing your procedures
    • Placeholders and specifications for all support documents (work instructions, information documents, forms, databases)
    • Word templates for attached files with your logo and letterhead
    • Your letterhead and logo placed in all Q-Template attached files

What is not included

This pack does not include:

  • Writing and editing support documents, including work instructions, information documents, forms and databases, apart from:
    • Applying your letterhead to all attached files
    • Writing brief specifications for support documents
    • Help with importing and consistently formatting the documents you produce
    • Producing a small number of examples for you to use for guidance
  • Defining business measures (including KPIs)
  • Travel more than 50 km from Bendigo, Victoria, Australia (but this can be arranged at extra cost. Internet webinars and remote access are so good these days that a visit is generally not necessary)
