Project Pack—Basic Small Business DIY (BSBD)

The BSBD Project Pack is for simple businesses with up to about 5 team members. It includes TKO Standard, Q-Template™ Ezy and 8 hours of training and consultancy.

Scenario

You have a small, uncomplicated business. You are keen to write an operations manual and learn how to do it the best way. You want a head start with some documents that are common to all businesses and with knowing a good approach. You want to know how to use TKO software well, organise your operations manual well, write instructions well and produce readable, well-laid out forms.

What is included

We supply you with:

  • TKO software or hosted Confluence
  • Q Template™ Ezy
  • 8 hours of training and consultancy over a period of 6 months. We work out with you the approach that suits you and your business and schedule our meetings and training accordingly.

How we work with you

Our services can include a variety of activities, according to your needs. After hearing our suggestions, you decide when and how we communicate, and what services we provide to you, subject to our availability.

  • Planning and managing your project to keep you on track to finish it
  • Organising your operations manual according to the way your business works
  • Structuring the database and writing documents for you
  • Teaching you:
    • How to use TKO software
    • How to describe the workflow of your business
    • How to write good instructions
    • How to design well laid-out forms
  • Educating your team about how to use your operations manual and the importance of continuing to improve it.

What is not included

  • Travel more than 50 km from Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. This can be arranged at extra cost. We normally deliver our training and consultancy using Internet webinars, where we can conveniently share control of our computers. An on-site visit is generally not necessary.
  • Work on or resources for more than a single instance of a single business. For franchises or if there are several businesses, please contact us for a quotation.
  • Developing new workflow, where you do not currently have a system that you need. Actually, we are willing to do this, but it may exhaust the time allowed in this project pack. We can arrange help with this at a reasonable rate.
