ISO 9001 is like a singing exam

It is also true that when the singing exam is approaching, I'll be preparing for it. But why do I sing? For the exam? Of course not! What will the exam give me? The knowledge that I match up to a standard and possibly some extra gigs. Why am I doing it? Mainly because having it as a goal will make me develop aspects of my singing that I might otherwise neglect.
